I am very lucky to live and work in the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria. My work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world - the curl of a leaf, entwined tree roots, star patterns in moss, wave patterns in sand......

In my small village workshop, I throw porcelain miniatures on the potters wheel and decorate them by hand
(see Romantic Ceramic).

The larger garden sculptures and water features are made of vitrified stoneware to withstand the Cumbrian winters. I also design, make and install bespoke ceramic murals for both indoor and outdoor situations.

Working with children and adults to design, make and glaze their own ceramic murals and pottery is another very enjoyable part of my work. All materials and firing are provided.
