VINTAGE CARS

Pictured is the Bullnose Morris 1926 which is a two seater with dickie, we also have a 1912 Gregouir (French) 16 hp, four seater Grand Tourer Convertible with a very loud OOOAAAAHHH!! Bulb Horn. The 1928 Humber Grand Tourer ,which is used to transport the Alston Gala Queen on her triumphant parade on Tyne Willows ,also comes equipped with a Klaxon Horn.

The M.G. PA 1934 .is a stunning example of the marque and has won many trophies in local shows.

VINTAGE MOTORBIKES

Our collection of motorcycles covers a broad spectrum of both breed and age, from the 1968 Raleigh 49cc 2 stroke Moped to the 1909 Triumph 500cc sidevalve. The HUB Museum plays host to several Motorcycle Club Events throughout the year. Pictured is the 1964 BSA Beagle 4 stroke overhead valve, we also have a BSA C 10 . affectionately known as Beverley, she is a 250cc sidevalve.--- a 1938 OHC 350cc Velocette,--a 1936 BSA 500cc Sidevalve,--- a 1928 500cc Sunbeam with Twin Exhaust Ports,---a 1938 Rudge Ulster 500cc Bronze 4 Valve Head. and many more ...
BICYCLES
Our impressive collection of bicycles includes a beautifully restored 1895 Penny Farthing, a Dual Control Tandem ,a Sunbeam Safety Bicycle of 1910 and a Lea Francis of the same year. The History of the bicycle as a vital means of transport before the age of the motor car are well represented by such names as Triumph and Rudge, right through to the Raleigh Chopper of 1972 and the amazing Raleigh Tricycle with the little boot for those important trips to the sweet shop, complete with retracting child restraining device.

THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE
Pictured is Percy who rides around with his friends on our comprehensive three rail track having a great time , going on adventures every day . This is probably the Highest Publicly Operated model railway in the land , there are two controllers to operate two separate tracks at the same time, and is suitable for all ages from 1 to 91, with a unique Certificate of Competence on the completion of your Engine Driving session, so go on ,have a go
MODEL OF ALSTON RAILWAY

This amazing E.M Gauge scale model of the Alston Station and Goods Yard ( including the Goods Shed which houses the HUB Museum) was commissioned in 1989 and completed in 1991.

It is a faithful reproduction of the rail layout and buildings of the 1950`s era , the detail is really quite stunning, right down to the hammer and spanners lying on the workbench of the engine repair sheds.
