Guests undertake to keep the accommodation and all furniture, fixtures,
fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair
and condition as at the commencement of the leting and also undertake
to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order
in which it was found. The Proprietors should be compensated for any
damage and breakages that may occur (fair wear and tear excepted).
Subject to availability of the accommodation requested, bookings will
be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Receipts will not be issued
for the balance of the fee unless requested. The accommodation may only
be used by the person named on the booking form. The number in the party
must not exceed that which was booked.
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to secure a booking.
The balance is due at least six weeks before the commencement of the
letting. The full cost of the holiday is payable on any booking made
within six weeks of the date booked. Cheques or cash only, please.
If the guest finds it necessary to cancel, the Proprietors should be
informed immediately, and they will endeavour to re-let the accommodation.
If the accommodation is re-let the deposit will be returned. If the
accommodation is not re-let, the full cost of the booking will be required.
Guests are requested to arrive at Cloud Nine after 2.00 pm on the day
of arrival and to vacate before 10.00 am on the day of departure. Please
ensure that you leave the keys in the front door before leaving.
By prior arrangement, guests may bring one to two well-behaved dogs
(no puppies) at a cost of £20 per week each (£10 per weekend).
Guests are respectfully requested to ensure that their pets are not
allowed on beds or other furnishings and not left unattended in the
property. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the vacinity of Cloud Nine
to prevent accidents on the road, disturbing game or worrying stock.
We ask guests not to smoke inside any part of the accommodation.
We try to do everything possible to create an environment for an enjoyable
visit but occasionally things can go wrong. Please make any complaints
during the time of your occupation and we will do what we can to resolve
the matter. We regret that no correspondence can be entered into in
the case of complaints made upon departure or after your return home,
as effective remedial action cannot then be taken.
The Proprietors do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal
property brought to Cloud Nine, however caused. The Proprietors do not
accept liability for any personal injury sustained by guests or visitors
to High Ashgill, however caused.
The Proprietors require your name and address in order to confirm your
booking or respond to a request. Unless you advise us otherwise, we
will add these details to a database in order that we may correspond
with you at the end of the year. We are committed to protecting your
privacy. To conform to data protection legislation, we do not sell,
trade, rent, exchange or distribute in anyway your personal details.
