Andrew Cadie is a folk singer, fiddler, guitarist and piper with a traditional/original repertoire rooted in the folk culture of North East England.

Together they go by the name of Broom Bezzums and have released two albums to critical acclaim. "Arise you sons of freedom..." and “Under the Rug” are both out on Steeplejack Records. He is one of the first graduates of the folk music degree course at Newcastle University . In his time there Andrew was part of the trio Roll a Penny , which featured fellow students Katie Doherty and Roger Purves.
Andrew also records as a session musician, works live
with storytellers, writes and records music for commissions, and
teaches English through song. He gives lessons on fiddle and guitar. |
